In a fictitious study I conducted in my head for this article, 20 out of 10 veterinarians agree that every dog is a puppy. And if you're a dog owner, you probably agree. National Puppy Day on March 23 and Patch wants to feature pics of the cutest Illinois puppies, great and small, young and old.

Since all dogs are puppies, so there's no age limit to get your pet featured in our 2026 National Puppy Day roundup.
