ACROSS ILLINOIS — Memorial Day falls on May 30, 2022, giving us a chance to pay tribute to those service men and women we have loved and lost. Illinois Patch wants to give our readers a platform to share their dedications in honor of Memorial Day.
To share a photo and dedication, follow these instructions:
1. Email lisa.farver@patch.com by May 26, 2022 at 1 p.m.

2. Put "Memorial Day Dedication" in the subject line.
3. Include a photo of your loved one with permission for Patch to publish it in an upcoming Memorial Day Tributes article.

4. Include your name, the name of the person you are honoring, and their branch and rank of service.
5. Include up to 150 words about why this person was important in your life.
