Spring Makes A Return As Temps Near 70 Expected For Chicago Area
A gradual warming trend begins Wednesday through the end of the week.
After a snowy start to the week, it looks like spring will make its return as temperatures are set to warm through the end of the week and into the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, a gradual warming trend will start Wednesday.
"Temperatures by the end of the week will be flirting with the 60s and even locally 70! As is typical this time of year, cooler conditions are expected near the Lake Michigan shoreline," the weather service said on its Facebook.

Any lingering snow will end Wednesday morning, and there is a chance of showers on Wednesday night. However, the rest of the week looks dry and sunny, according to the weather service forecast.
Wednesday will have a high of 49 degrees, but temperatures will be mild on Thursday with a high of 61 and even warmer with a high of 70 on Friday.

Saturday will also be a mild day with a high of 72 degrees expected, according to the current forecast.
