Ann-Marie Aiello sent us this photograph of a rainbow, "minus the leprechaun," in Wilmington.

Debbie Garcia, of Bolingbrook, photographed her granddaughter, Lyra, 5, who spent the first day of spring break taking bags of Girl Scouts cookies, and painted appreciation rocks, to a few fire stations around Bolingbrook. "She is a Bolingbrook Daisy Scout, but collected cookies and did this act of kindness and appreciation on her own," Garcia tells us. "The firefighters were great with her, and we hope they enjoy their treats."
