100 Involved In Fight At Adult Soccer Game: Police
No one was injured after the fight broke out at the LifeZone Sports Complex in West Dundee on Sunday.
WEST DUNDEE, IL — Authorities are investigating a dispute that occurred during a soccer match involving two teams last weekend, police said.
When officers arrived on scene, they encountered a large crowd, which officials say can make it difficult in fast-moving situations to immediately determine who was involved and what exactly occurred. It remains unclear what initially triggered the conflict, said Daniel Haines, deputy chief for the village of West Dundee Police Department.
As a result, investigators are relying on a review of internal video surveillance to help establish the sequence of events, and some individuals involved have since been identified, Haines said.
