'80s Rock-Themed Restaurant Opens in Lake in the Hills
The new restaurant opened this past week along Randall Road.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - A new 1980s-themed rock-themed restaurant has opened in Lake in the Hills.
Rock N Grill, a 1,600-square-foot space that can seat 34 people, opened in the building formerly occupied by Chicago Grill at 335 N. Randall Road, the Northwest Herald reports. Chad and Tammy Hufford hope the restaurant will give Lake in the Hills diners something different.
“When we were kids, we’d go to the ’50s and ’60s diners because that’s what the people that own restaurants had,” Tammy Hufford said of the couple's first restaurant. “And we figured it’s time to go up a generation and make it the ’80s.”

And the restaurant also posted its menu online for those wanting a glimpse at what is offered at Rock N Grill.
