Algonquin Academy of Dance Places at Area Competitions

Dancers from the Algonquin Academy of Dance and Music brought back awards after two recent dance competitions.

brought back  from the Tremaine Dance Competition in Schaumburg on Feb. 3 through Feb. 5, according to an announced posted on Lake in the Hills Patch. 

The dancers placed third in the hip-hop division, third in the tap division and third in solos contemporary dance, according to the Tremaine Dance competition website. The competition was held in Schaumburg. 

Algonquin Academy of Dance placed in the gold and high silver ratings at the CoDance competition at the Chicago Marriott Downtown. The competition took place Jan. 27 to Jan. 29, according to the CoDance website.
