Algonquin Swimming Pool and Splashpad Opens Saturday

Open swim hours begin this Saturday, May 28, at the Lions-Armstrong Memorial Pool in Algonquin. Open swim hours are offered daily through September 4. Additionally, Algonquin Recreation offers individual and group swim lessons, adult aqua fitness, and American Red Cross lifeguard training.

The Algonquin Swimming Pool and Splashpad provides seasonal swimming and programming opportunities for the community. The facility features a 1-meter spring diving board, lap pool, interactive splashpad area, and pool deck complete with chaise lounges and expanded shade areas.

The pool is located at 599 Longwood Drive, Algonquin, just south of Algonquin Road. Additional information and the open swim hour schedule are available online at www.algonquin.org/pool.
