Weather Permitting:&nbsp; If you love being outdoors or need service hours please join us to remove invasive brush from 9:00 am- noon with a cookie/beverage break in the middle.&nbsp; Wear clothes suitable for the weather and bring gloves, loppers and safety glasses if you have &nbsp;them.&nbsp;Park behind the Dundee Township Library and take the trail from the parking lot into the wooded area and head right following the trail as it turns left along the top of the pit.&nbsp; We will be working in a small wooded section along the trail.&nbsp; &nbsp;Follow signs.&nbsp;

Helm Woods Forest Preserve

Weather Permitting. Grab your loppers, gloves and boots. We will have a workday to clear more invasives. &nbsp;Refreshments will be served at breaktime. Directions: From Rt. 25 north to Helm's Road, right (east) onto Helm's Road and follow around; the road will become Monroe at the 90 degree turn;&nbsp; continue to stop sign at Tee Lane, left onto Tee and follow to the end;&nbsp; go through the gate and park on the grass field.&nbsp; Walk or drive on the gravel lane to your right until you find the staff vehicles at the worksite.
