Car Dealership Expands, Makes Room For Electric Vehicles
The Rosen Hyundai dealership in Algonquin has presented plans for its upgrades to village officials in Algonquin.

ALGONQUIN, IL — The Rosen Hyundai dealership in Algonquin is hoping to expand to make room for its new Hyundai Ioniq line of electric vehicles, the Northwest Herald is reporting.
The upgrades, which include a bigger showroom, car wash and charging stations for the electric vehicles, were presented at a village Committee of the Whole meeting late last year and are up for review before Algonquin's Planning and Zoning Commission in May, Jason Shallcross, community development director for Algonquin, told the Northwest Herald.
In addition to increasing the space at its dealership at 771 S. Randall Road by 50 percent, Rosen Hyundai hopes to also add 14 vehicle bays to the adjacent former Napa Auto Parts building.
