Crystal Lake Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash
Barry T. Rataiczyk, 44, was killed in the Woodstock crash Tuesday evening.
A 44-year-old Crystal Lake man was killed Tuesday evening in a crash on Doty Road in Woodstock.
Barry T. Rataiczyk was taken to Centegra Woodstock Hospital following the crash where he was pronounced dead at 7:16 p.m., according to a McHenry County Coroner’s Office press release.
The accident occurred when the motorcycle, driven by Rataiczyk, was heading south on Doty Road. The motorcycle traveled into the northbound lane and struck a car, according to the news release.

Rataiczyk died of blunt force trauma to his head and chest. The coroner’s office is waiting on toxicology results.
