ALGONQUIN, IL -- Downed power lines has lead to the closure of the Prairie Trail in Algonquin. The trail was closed from the Meyer Road Parking lot south to Route 31, according to an alert sent by the McHenry County Conservation District just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
No information is available on when trail will be reopened.
