McCare Night for Turning Point

Four local McDonalds restaurants, in Marengo, Algonquin, Fox River Grove and Huntley, will hold a “McCare Night” for Turning Point on Wednesday, August 8th. 15% of all proceeds at the restaurants between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on August 8th will be donated to Turning Point. No coupon or flyer is necessary; all purchases made during those hours will generate donations to the charity. This event is part of “Take a Stand for Turning Point” a 36 hour radiothon presented annually by Star 105.5 to raise funds and awareness for the local domestic violence agency and shelter. McDonalds is a major sponsor of the event and the local restaurants involved will present the proceeds from this McCare night at the broadcast, this year held at Sam’s Club in Crystal Lake from 6 AM Friday, August 10th until 6 PM Saturday, August 11th.

Turning Point is a domestic violence agency and shelter with a mission to confront violence against women and children in McHenry County.  The McDonald’s restaurants involved are located at 200 W. Grant Highway, Marengo, 125 S. Randall Road, Algonquin, 10711 Route 47, Huntley and 840 Northwest Highway, Fox River Grove.

More information on the McCare night is available by calling Turning Point at (815) 338 8081.
