Free Airplane Rides For Kids At LITH Airport This Weekend
The Young Eagles Rally will be held this Saturday.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - The next Young Eagles Rally will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at the Lake in the Hills Airport. EAA Chapter 790 will provide Young Eagles rides for children ages 8 to 17 years old, according to a village of Lake in the Hills resident newsletter. A parent or legal guardian must accompany their child to sign a waiver.
The pilots donate their time, fuel and aircraft to help introduce a new generation to aviation. The Lake in the Hills Airport is located at 8407 Pyott Road.
The final Young Eagles Rally for the year will be held on Oct. 7.
