Half-Price Books Inches Closer to Algonquin Opening

Half-Price Books is coming soon to Algonquin. 

The 9,964-square-foot store will be located in a portion of the former Borders location on the south corner of the Algonquin Commons and right next to Family Christian, according to information provided by Half Price Books. 

The used book store will begin buying used books, music, movies and games on Monday, March 25, said Emily Bruce, Half Price Books public relations manager, in an e-mail. The store will provide cash for used materials it accepts.

A grand opening celebration will be held Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, April 28, according to Half Price Books. The first 100 people through the door at 9 a.m. Thursday through Sunday will receive a free tote bag and a $5 gift card. One of the tote bags will contain a $100 gift card.
