Harvest Hustle 5k Run/Walk

Join the Algonquin Recreation Department in the second annual Harvest Hustle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 11. The race will feature a professionally timed 3.2 mile run and a 1.5 mile walk road course throughout downtown Algonquin. The race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. at Historic Village Hall, 2 South Main Street.

Pre-registration for the race is $20 per walker, $25 per runner, and is available online at www.algonquin.org/recreation or in person at Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin. All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt for the event. Registration will also be available race day morning prior to the start.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall female runners and top 3 overall male runners.

Medals will be awarded to the top run finishers as follows:
8-15 years old
16-26 years old
27-37 years old
38-48 years old
49-59 years old
60-69 years old
70 and over

All proceeds from the Hustle will benefit the Village scholarship program, Recreation for “ALL-gonquin.” This program is designed to help area youth participate in recreation programs offered by the Village at a discounted rate.
