Huntley Woman, 30, Killed In Crash: Authorities

Rosemary Bolding was pronounced dead after her vehicle was struck at an intersection and crashed into a home, authorities said.

GRUNDY COUNTY, IL — A 30-year-old Huntley woman was killed Wednesday morning when two vehicles collided at an intersection in rural Grundy County, authorities said.

Rosemary E. Bolding was driving north on Johnny Run Road when she failed to stop at the marked intersection with Gardner Blacktop around 8:45 a.m., according to Grundy County Coroner John Callahan.

Her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle in the intersection, sending it into a northeast yard where it crashed into the corner of a home, Callahan said. Bolding was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:40 a.m., according to the coroner.

The crash remains under investigation.
