The purpose of the walk is to provide support, raise research funds and awareness for the Transverse Myelitis Association. TMA serves people and families affected by rare neuro-immune diseases, including Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), Optic Neuritis (ON), Transverse Myelitis(TM) and Recurrent Transverse Myelitis.
