'Irate' Man Grabbed Pharmacy Worker At Walmart: Police
Juan Tello-Alanis, 26, of Lake in the Hills, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL -- A 26-year-old Lake in the Hills man remains in custody on a $15,000 bail at the McHenry County Jail Monday after he allegedly grabbed a pharmacy worker at the Algonquin Walmart and then threatened police officers who were responding to the incident last week, according to the Northwest Herald. Officers were called to the Walmart at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday for a report of an "irate customer." Officers needed to use a taser to subdue the man, who has been identified as Juan Tello-Alanis, before they took him into custody, according to the article.
During an investigation, police learned the man allegedly grabbed the pharmacy employee by the shoulder and refused to leave. Authorities told the Northwest Herald it was unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the incident, and they were unsure what the man had been stopping by to pick up.
Tello-Alanis has been charged with aggravated assault, battery/making physical contact and disorderly conduct. He is next expected in court on Aug. 31.
