It's Our River Day

Come join and celebrate the beautiful Fox River and help keep her clean on September 20 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Cornish Park.

The Village of Algonquin and the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County are sponsoring “It’s Our River Day” celebration and clean-up. The theme this year is “Explore the Outdoors.” This free event aims to educate residents about how they can help preserve and protect natural resources. Stop by and visit all of the booths to gather information, volunteer opportunities, kids activities, and more! The Fox River clean-up will begin at 2:00 pm. Come celebrate the beautiful Fox River and help keep her clean. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot at South Harrison Street and Washington Street, and on-street parking throughout the neighborhood.
