TVMA Academy

TVMA Academy is a Kukkiwon-certified Taekwondo school serving the Algonquin and Lake in the Hills community. Led by Master Eric Ford, a Kukkiwon Certified International Master, Poom/Dan Examiner, and Self-Defense Instructor, our academy blends the tradition of Taekwondo with innovative training programs designed for students of all ages. At TVMA, we believe martial arts is more than kicks and punches, it’s a pathway to confidence, discipline, and leadership. Our programs include children’s classes that build focus and respect, teen and adult martial arts for fitness and stress relief, competitive sparring development, and specialized offerings and seminars. Submitted by the village of Lake in the HillsBring your four legged friends out to the Bark Park to enjoy some wet fun with the Village of Lake in the Hills Parks &amp; Recreation Department as we host our FREE Water and Wags event on Saturday, August 16 starting at 10 a.m. Baby pools and sprinklers will be set up for the dogs to enjoy some wet and wild fun. We will also play a few fun games. Don't miss your chance to show off your dog's quirky side in our silly trick competition. Make sure you bring a towel! You do not need to be a Bark Park member to participate. If you are considering a membership, price discounts started on August 1. Resident memberships are only $30 and non-resident memberships are reduced to $45. Memberships run on a calendar year and are good through December 31.
