Lake in the Hills to Host Shredding Day This Weekend

The village of Lake in the Hills will be hosting a Shredding Day for all Lake in the Hills residents on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 from 9 a.m. until noon at village hall, 600 Harvest Gate.

Residents can bring two copier size boxes of any paper documents that they would like shredded to village hall. AMS Store and Shred will be on hand to take those paper documents, which will be put into 95 gallon totes and then locked, according to a news release.

At the end of the day, AMS will take the locked totes back to their facility at 13 Prosper Court in Lake in the Hills and shred all the paper documents within the totes. This service is being provided at no cost to village residents, according to a news release.
