Lake in the Hills Park Playground Closes for Renovations
The playground at Stoneybrook Park in LITH is expected to remain closed through early July.
Submission by the village of Lake in the Hills
Stoneybrook Park playground, which is located at the corner of Anderson Drive and David Street, is now closed for renovations.
To date, the perimeter of the park has been removed and crews are working to install new drainage to improve the park condition.The new equipment will be delivered by June 1. The renovations will include features for children ages 2-5 as well as structures for children ages 5-12. These additional play options will make the playground more accessible to a broader age group, according to village officials.
