Lake in the Hills Wants to Attract Car Dealerships to the Village
The village's new economic development coordinator says he's going after high-end dealers, like Audi.

A recent market feasibility study has Lake in the Hills’s new economic development coordinator trying to attract automotive dealerships to the village, according to a Northwest Herald report.
George Hahne, who was hired as the village’s economic development coordinator just a few weeks ago, told the Northwest Herald that the feasibility study showed that of the $252 million of sales in the village, the majority of retail sales come from the automotive and filling station sectors.

Although car dealerships have a strong presence in the surrounding area, Hahne would like to reach out to Carmax and high-end dealers, such as Audi, the report added.
