Lane Closures Through Friday On Randall Road

ALGONQUIN, IL – Traffic along Randall should be moving along a bit better by the weekend. Lane closures occurred along Randall just north of Algonquin Road starting on Dec. 5. Those closures were slated for 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 7, according to a news release.

These closures were meant for crews to work a project that would increase the left turn lane length when headed southbound on Randall Road and turning eastbound onto Algonquin Road. This increase is meant to allow those turning east Algonquin Road to go into a "|designated turn lane, reducing the likelihood of those vehicles blocking the through lane," according to the news release.
