Light of Christ Worship

Light of Christ:  Pastor Kendall and Pastor Sharon will continue the sermon series based on various topics that have been brought up by members of the congregation.  This weekend the title will be "Why does God Say "kill" after telling us not to?" making reference to Exodus 20:1-3 and 13.  Choices of worship this weekend are as follows:  Blended worship choices are Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. with a contemporary worship on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  All services are at 100 Hanson Rd., Algonquin. There will be a blood drive at the church on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Preregistration is encouraged at www.lifesource.org.  Please contact Phyllis Gaffney at phylgaff@sbcglobal.net if you are willing and able to help sort and stock the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Food Pantry on Mondays or Tuesdays.  Everyone is encouraged to continue recycling their aluminum cans for Turning Point by bringing them to the bins in the back of the church parking lot.  Remember July 7-11 is the week for VBS "Under The Stars".  Registration is now available at www.locchurch.com/camps.  For additional information or to sign up for any programs, call 847-658-9250 or visit www.locchurch.com.
