Local Public Works Employee Nabs Award

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL – A congrats is in order for Scott Parchutz. The public properties superintendent for the Lake in the Hills Public Works Department recently received the American Public Works Association Fox Valley Branch 2017 Professional Manager of the Year in Facilities and Grounds Award. The primary focus of this award is the recognition of exceptional leadership in the field of public works buildings management, according to village officials.

Scott was recognized for his efforts at the APWA Fox Valley Branch award banquet on Jan. 9. The Branch nominated him for the same award at the chapter level.
