Like to work with your hands, have an eye for detail and an ability to concentrate? Learn new skills in the welding trades with an introductory Welding Boot Camp program offered by McHenry County College’s Continuing Education Department. Saturday classes begin Feb. 1; weekday classes begin Feb. 3 and 4.
Welders work in a variety of environments, both indoors and out, using heat to melt and fuse metal for a common bond. Because so many of the products we use today involve welding, the opportunities in the welding industry are endless.
The next class takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 through March 22 at the Woodstock Center, 912 Trakk Lane in Woodstock. Use course ID: NWL C01 012 to register.
