McHenry County Moves 2050 is our countywide, long-range transportation plan to examine the ways that people and goods move in our area, and develop solutions that will make it easier for everyone, and everything, to get where they need to go.

We’ve launched a website, www.McHenryCountyMoves2050.com, to make it easy for the public to learn more, and to participate to ensure that the final plan reflects the community’s transportation priorities.

Visitors can contribute feedback through an online public forum, an engagement survey to learn how they get around, and an interactive comment map that allows visitors to pin their thoughts on transportation at specific county locations. We encourage everyone to visit the interactive, user friendly site and share their ideas.

The Division of Transportation is hosting a virtual informational meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10. Visit the Facebook page for MCDOT at www.facebook.com/McHenryCountyDOT for the link, and like us to stay informed of progress as we craft a long-range transportation plan that benefits everyone.
