The tornadoes touched down near Hebron and Harvard on Saturday.

Meteorologists confirmed Tuesday that two tornadoes touched down briefly in McHenry County during weekend storms, the Northwest Herald reports.
The first tornado touched down in a field about two miles northeast of Harvard at 2:19 p.m. Saturday while the second touched down about twenty minutes later just southwest of Hebron, according to the article.
Both tornadoes were on the ground for less than a minute, were about 50 yards wide, had peak wind speeds of 70 mph and were given EF-O designations, which is the lowest on the six-point Enhanced Fujita Scale that measure the severity of tornadoes, the newspaper reports.
