ALGONQUIN, IL — A new Portillo's is coming to Algonquin.

The 7,800-square-foot restaurant will have seating for more than 200 diners inside and on a seasonal patio at the new location, which will be located at Randall Road and Corporate Parkway. The restaurant will have double drive-thru lanes for those stopping out to get their meals in a hurry.

The new Portillo's should open this year, company officials said in a news release.

The new restaurant, known for its hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches, will be part of a commercial development plan located at the southwest corner of Randall Road and Commons Drive, Fox 32 Chicago is reporting. Other businesses expected to open at the location include a Cooper's Hawk, Raising Cane's and BJ's Brewhouse.
