The services will be delayed by one day.
Garbage and recycling collection in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills will be delayed this week due to the extreme cold. Garbage will not be picked up on Wednesday in either villages.
LAKE IN THE HILLS
Flood Brothers will be collecting refuse and recycling on Tuesday in Lake in the Hills but collection services will not occur on Wednesday, January 30th, due to the extreme temperatures that are predicated. Due to this, collection services this week have been delayed by one day starting on Wednesday, January 30.

Due to extreme cold temperatures expected this week, Groot routes will not operate on Wednesday, causing a one day service delay for the rest of the week. Thursday routes will be collected on Friday and Friday accounts will be collected on Saturday.
