One Critically Injured in Crash on Algonquin Road
The crash occurred Sunday morning in Lake in the Hills.
A man was transported to the hospital by helicopter Sunday following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Algonquin Road.
The crash occurred at 6:34 a.m. Sunday on Algonquin Road at Lake Drive in Lake in the Hills, according to a Lake in the Hills Police Department report. A 2010 Infiniti was traveling east on Algonquin Road when the sedan left the roadway, struck several trees and fencing and then went over an embankment south of Algonquin Road. The vehicle came to rest on its roof.
The driver of the vehicle, Joaquin Trujillo, 31, of Carpentersville, was critically injured in the crash and taken by Flight for Life helicopter to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
