Plane Crashes at Lake in the Hills Airport

The crash happened Thursday morning at the Lake in the Hills Airport.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL -- No one was injured when a twin-engine plane landed without its landing gear Thursday morning at the Lake in the Hills Airport, the Northwest Herald reports. The crash forced the airport along Pyott Road to close Thursday. The Beech 95-B55 Baron went down at about 11 a.m. Thursday.

Neither the pilot nor the passenger on board was injured in the crash, the Northwest Herald reports. The incident remains under investigation.
