Police: Westbound Rakow Road Closed Following Traffic Incident
A traffic incident took place near the busy intersection of Rakow Road and Route 31 Thursday morning.
Local police are telling motorists to avoid westbound Rakow Road at Route 31 following a traffic incident, according to a Crystal Lake Police Department e-mail alert.
According to the alert, which was sent just before 11 a.m., the roadway should be closed for the next hour.
The Lake & McHenry County Scanner Facebook page is reporting local police and fire officials were on the scene at Rakow Road just west of Route 31 for a report of an overturned cement truck.
