Can anyone explain why these trees weren't treated for the ash borer like they are doing in the city ? Instead the village removed all these mature trees that were showing absolutely no outer signs of infestation and added so much esthetically to our neighborhood ! I had a beautiful Purple Ash in front of my house in Terrace Hill that we nurtured, and fertilized for fourteen years and the village saw it fit to remove it AND REPLACE IT WITH A PATHETIC,DEFORMED TWIG ! .......... which I brought to the attention of Mr. Schwartz two years ago when it was planted, to no avail ! Paying this excessive real estate tax for what ?????
