Is it the best kept secret in Algonquin that Nero’s has two pizza specials each week that will let you save a ton of money? Tuesday, any pizza, size or toppings is half price when you dine in. Wednesday, half price for take out or delivery (only).
I’ve written about Nero’s before and it’s one of my Algonquin favorites, and I think half price on anything these days is worth an outing.
I always get the monster size and the leftovers keep me busy for a couple days. BTW, wanna know the best way to reheat pizza? Skip the oven and microwave, and place your slices in a medium low skillet until they crisp up. Cast iron pans work great.
