Secretary Of State Worker From Algonquin Faces Felony Charges
Donna D. Aguirre faces an official misconduct charge.
ALGONQUIN, IL — An Illinois secretary of state's office employee from Algonquin faces felony charges for allegations she used a fake vehicle identification number on a title application to obtain a title for a stolen 2020 Land Rover Range Velar.
Donna D. Aguirre, 62, is also accused of using the state's database to run vehicle identification checks as a way to "knowingly and with intent of gaining personal advantage for herself," according to the Northwest Herald. Aguirre, of the 500 block of Woods Creek Lane, oversaw operations of the Woodstock office of the secretary of the state at the time of her arrest in November.
