Sushi Restaurant That Closed During COVID Now Set To Reopen: Officials

Mori Sushi in Lake in the Hills has only offered delivery and pickup since restaurants shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A Lake in the Hills sushi restaurant that shifted from offering in-person dining to only serving food via carryout and delivery during COVID has reopened.

Mori Sushi, at 2124 W. Algonquin Road, closed when all restaurants shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. When indoor dining resumed, restaurant owners struggled to hire staff and chose to remain closed but continue to offer carryout and delivery for its customers, according to village documents.
