Three New Stores to Open up Shop at Algonquin Commons
Yogen Fruz, Tilly's and Maurices are all slated to open in the coming months.
Three new stores are scheduled to open at in the coming months.
Yogen Fruz will open in the former TeaGschwendner location; Tilly's — a surf- and skate-apparel retailer — will open between Justice and the Algonquin Commons guest relations center; and will move from its location at 714 S. Randall Road to the Algonquin Commons.

Yogen Fruz is moving into the former location, 1624 S. Randall Road.
The owners of the location, Arsala Alam and her husband, Sabih, are very excited to open up shop. It is set to be the largest Yogen Fruz franchise in Illinois, covering 2,300 square feet, according to an email statement from Arsala.

Yogen Fruz offers a variety of soft-serve probiotic yogurt as well as premium coffee.
“We are aspiring to incorporate a lounge-style atmosphere with lots of seating, free Wi-Fi and iPads displayed on the counters for customer use,” Alam wrote in the email.
Arsala and Sabih Alam plan to open Yogen Fruz by April and hope to hold a grand opening event toward the end of April.
Tilly's Brings Surf, Skate Apparel to Commons
Tilly’s, a retailer of surf and skate apparel, is slated to open this spring at 1832 S. Randall Road, according to an email statement from Lindsay Major, assistant marketing director at Inland Real Estate.
Tilly’s will be located between Justice clothing store and the Algonquin Commons guest relations center.
Maurices Makes Move to Algonquin Commons
, a specialty-clothing boutique for women, will be moving from its location at 714 S. Randall Road to the Algonquin Commons.
The new store will be located at 1936 S. Randall Road between Taylor Stevens Salon & Day Spa and The Children’s Place.
According to Major, is expected to open this summer.
