Van Followed 3 Kids From Park In Lake In The Hills: Police
Local authorities are asking for the public's help in tracking down the van following the incident on Feb. 21.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department is investigating a report of a suspicious vehicles that authorities say followed three juveniles walking from a local park.
Police say three juveniles, ages 14 years old and under, were approached by a man in the suspicious van near Edward Williams Hynes Park, 4675 E. Albrecht Road, shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21. The man asked one of the children if she needed a ride.
The man was described as a white older man.

The vehicle is described as a two-toned late '80s or early '90s Econoline van. It is dark in color, possibly black or blue, and there is possible damage or some type of modification on the driver side passenger middle window, according to a post on the Lake in the Hills Police Department Facebook page.
