Alsip 'Backs the Blue' For National Night Out

Hundreds of Alsip residents turn out for annual public safety and community building event. Photo highlights.

IALSIP, IL -- Law enforcement agencies across the United States celebrated the 35th National Night Out, an annual event that falls on the first Tuesday in August promoting community building and public safety. The Alsip Police Department entertained a great turnout. Residents were treated to bagpipers, K9 demonstrations, a trackless choo choo train and a chance to explore emergency vehicles.
