Alsip-Crestwood Schools Call e-Learning Ahead Of Winter Storm: UPDATED

Alsip-Crestwood schools are closing buildings and planning e-Learning ahead of Friday's anticipated winter storm.

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — School districts are starting to announce closings in anticipation of a winter storm on Friday that could dump up to nine inches of snow in parts with 50 mph wind gusts of the Chicago area.

Winter storm watches have been issued beginning late Thursday evening into early Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
