Alsip Fire Department Open House Features Demos, Kids' Activities
Learn fire safety tips, slide down a fireman's pole, and watch demos at the Alsip Fire Department's open house this Saturday, Oct. 12.
ALSIP, IL — Celebrate Fire Prevention Week this Saturday, Oct. 12, at an open house hosted by the Alsip Fire Department. The open house runs from 1 to 3 p.m. at Firehouse #2, 11946 S. Laramie. This event is FREE.
The open house features demonstrations and children’s activities, including photo and hose props, side-by-side burns, safety train rides and bounce houses. Kids can also drive kid-sized fire engines, and get up close to an Air Med helicopter.
