Alsip, Merrionette Park Fire Departments Hold Holiday Toy Drive
Alsip and Merrionette Park firefighters team up to hold holiday toy drive for patients at Advocate Children's.
ALSIP-MERRIONETTE PARK, IL -- The Merrionette Park and Alsip Fire Departments are teaming up to collect toys from some awesome kids at Advocate Children’s Hospital. Firefighters will be collecting toys through Dec. 5. Please consider donating toys, games and books that children can play with in bed. No stuffed animals, please.
Suggested items include:
- UNO cards
- Model Magic
- Board games
- Teething Toys
- Infant plastic links and handheld toys
- Headphones/earbuds
- Interactive Light Up/Sound infant toys (English and Spanish)
- Infant board books (English/Spanish)
- Action hero figures
- Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars
- LEGO sets (small and medium sized) boy and girl themed
- Barbies
- Craft kits
- New release movies (DVDs), G and PG-13
- PlayStation 3 games (no “M” rated games)
- Remote control cars
- Gift cards (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Meijer, Jewel, iTunes, Best Buy, Jewel, gas cards)
