Alsip Park District Hiring Camp Counselors For Summer 2019

ALSIP, IL -- The Alsip Park District is hiring summer camp counselors for the 2019 season. Applicants must be at least 18 and display responsibility, leadership, creativity and had good communication skills. Applications must be submitted and returned by April 30 to the Apollo Recreation Center

Camp counselors are required to act as a substitute parent, educator and friend to help campers learn teamwork, cooperation, respect and make new friends. Camp is held Monday through Friday from June 10 through Aug. 2. There will be no camp on July 4.

Mandatory training for camp counselors will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 3 through June 5, which includes CRP/AED and First Aid training.
