Alsip Park District Offers Canine Happy Hour For Dogs And Owners

ALSIP, IL -- Bring your pooch to the Alsip Park District’s Bow Wow Luau Yappy Hour on July 30. Dogs and their owners will gather from 6 to 8 p.m. in Prairie Park Fields at 119th Street and Kostner. Meet other dog lovers, set up doggie play dates or just hang out and enjoy some fresh air.

Marty from Black Dog Canine will have a mini obedience demo and an obstacle course set up for your pooch to try out. Information will be on hand for summer and fall canine obedience classes offered by Black Dog Canine and the Alsip Park District. Dogs and their owners are invited to dress up in their favorite Hawaiian or tropical attire for the evening’s theme of Luau Night. Prizes will be awarded for the best getups.

All dogs must be on leashes and their poop picked up and disposed of properly. This is a FREE event but monetary, dog food and supplies can be donated to help local shelters.
