Alsip Police Hold Annual Christmas Toy Drive
Alsip police are collecting new, unwrapped toys, books and games through Dec. 22 for ChildServ and Sheliah A. Doyle Foundation.

ALSIP, IL — Alsip police are collecting toys to make Christmas a little brighter for children in need. New, unwrapped toys, games and books for children from babies to high school age can be dropped off at Alsip Village Hall through Dec. 22.
Toys will be distributed to ChildServ, an esteemed 105-year-old human service agency that offers community-based programs to children and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties, and the Sheliah A. Doyle Foundation, a Palos Heights organization which provides grief support services to children affected by homicide.
Donations may be dropped off at Alsip Village Hall, 4500 W. 123rd St., during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. For more information contact Ofcr. R. Merlo at 708-385-6902, ext. 249 or rmerlo@villageofalsip.org.
