Illinois turns 200 this year and we're giving you the chance to honor our state's important history along with the entire village of Alsip. Join in the festivities Sunday, August 26th from 1 pm to 5 pm in the open space behind Prairie Junior High School, located at 11910 S. Kostner Avenue. Your Alsip community, including the public library district, fire and police departments, park district, and school districts, has been working hard to put together this FREE and exciting Illinois Bicentennial Celebration, and we hope to see you there!
