Bring Your Pooch to Alsip's Paws In the Park (Or Bring One Home), Aug. 12

ALSIP, IL -- Bring your pooch to the Alsip Park District’s Paws in the Park this Saturday, Aug. 12. The celebration will be held at Prairie Park, 119th Street and Kostner Avenue. The canine confab runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Paws in the Park features a vendor fair, doggie competitions, demos, presentations, photo booth, raffles and prizes. There will also be a pet blessing and pet adoption event. Animal Welfare League of Chicago Ridge will be stopping by with its 40-foot long mobile pet adoption trailer, along with 15 to 20 pets looking for forever homes.

The Alsip Park District still needs vendors, crafters and business. The space fee is $20 per vendor.
